1. Take the ferry to Serifos
The quickest way to get from Athens to Serifos is to hop on a ferry. The line is serviced from the port of Piraeus, the central port of Athens. The distance between Athens and Serifos is 65 nautical miles.
From the port of Piraeus to Serifos, you can find daily crossings all year round and more during summer. The line is mainly operated by Seajets and Zante Ferries and has an average duration of 2 hours and 55 minutes, depending on vessel type and weather conditions.

Hop on the local bus to explore more places on the island. Local bus lines (KTEL) can get you to and from various destinations. This is the cheapest solution, with low bus fares and frequent schedules.
You can find daily bus routes from Chora to Livadi mostly, but also towards other villages. However, remember that the public bus routes do not cover all the destinations on the island, especially the hidden gems.
