Getting from Athens to Aegina
Take the Flying Dolphin from Piraeus port
The route from Piraeus to the port of Aegina is serviced by Aegean Flying Dolphins, which are a convenient and fast way to get to the island and enjoy your day there.
You can get from the port of Piraeus to Aegina in only 40 minutes if you hop on a flying dolphin. Prices for the flying dolphins are only slightly increased compared to the regular ferry and are usually at 16,50 Euros for a single ticket per person.
Many ferry companies operate the high-speed lines, but you should probably book in advance, as Aegina, and other Saronic islands, are very popular destinations for a quick getaway and get fully booked.

Take the ferry from Piraeus port
There are about 15 daily crossings from the port of Piraeus to Aegina throughout the year. The ferry trip with the regular ferry lasts about 1 hour and 10 minutes, as the island is located only 15 nautical miles away from Athens.
The earliest ferry usually departs at 07:20 a.m. and the last usually at 8:50 p.m. The itinerary is serviced by Anes Ferries and Saronic Ferries. Ferry ticket prices start from 9 Euros and can go up to 10,50Euros. The average cost for a single passenger ticket is 10. 50 Euros.
You can find discounts for children, students, people with disabilities, and permanent island inhabitants. If you wish to bring your vehicle from Athens to the island, you can, as most ferry and high-speed ferry companies provide this service. Prices, however, would be between 29 and 50 Euros for a single-vehicle transfer, depending on the season, availability, and seat options.

From Athens: Argo and Saronic Islands Cruise with Lunch

From Athens: Boat Tour to Agistri, Aegina with Moni Swimming Stop
With this day cruise, you can sail the Saronic Sea to visit the islands of Agistri and Aegina. Hop on the wooden motor sailing boat for an adventure around the islands.
The ship departs from Marina Zeas at around 9 in the morning, but guests are advised to be there by 8.45 to board the boat and be welcomed with coffee, drinks, snacks, and pastries.
